ESA is the official notified body in the PPE Directive Expert Group and has a guest status in the CEN TC85 expert group. ESA's Goal is to update ESA members on ISO, CEN and the PPE Directive in order to increase the awareness of standards, new test methods and the product qualities in general. Therefore ESA takes a leading role in protecting the endconsumer and to ensure a high quality level of products within the european sunglass market.
